Happening
The old pharmacy by the Théâtre can hardly believe it itself.
I remember its dark woodwork, the endless rows of apothecary drawers, and the pharmacist in his white coat, attending to a silent line of customers, each waiting their turn. At the entrance, in the carved stone, the little grilled niche - a remnant of the façade. Nothing really hinted at what was to come.
Today, the pharmacy has become Pia and Julien’s art gallery. Their Aesthetic Manifesto has replaced the on-duty pharmacy calendar.
At the entrance of the former pharmacy, Julien’s Manifeste Esthétique.
A solemn threshold under a sky streaked with light.
When I arrive at the door, the golden statue dominates, frozen beneath a sky streaked with light. A solemn threshold, almost sacred. And yet, behind this door, a promise of unbridled art.
Inside, the unexpected awaits. Three artists, three visions, countless expressions. Joyful chaos, grungy energy. A mystical figure within its circle of light, shattered spheres scattered like planets. Provocation, unruly, raw vitality.
A happening.
Here, in Tarascon, art can spring up anywhere - even in a sleepy old pharmacy.
