Observing Time
Since launching my gallery project, I keep getting asked the same question: “So, are you a photographer now?” My answer is simple: No, I’m not an artist. I’m just someone deeply in love with the image.
I’m not looking for technical perfection. I’m just trying to figure out what it is, in a shadow, a texture, or an ancient ritual, that hits us right in the heart.
I want to watch time, to peel back the layers of reality and find that one suspended moment. Since I started this gallery adventure, the way I look at photos and the world in general, has shifted. I’ve learned to spot the art hidden in plain sight: the flicker of a certain light, the grit of the grain, those stories that only surface if you’re patient enough to wait for them.
For me, looking at a photo is a journey. It’s like reading a book where you linger on every page. This new "eye" pushed me to dig back into my own archives, and looking at them now, I’ve found secrets hidden in the heat of the moment. Things I captured years ago but only truly saw today.
This instinct is the soul of my gallery: putting my vision at the service of the artists I champion.
Tomorrow, I’ll share a major milestone with you. International recognition that proves one thing: sensitivity doesn’t need a title to speak for itself.
